How does AI food recognition work?

Simply take a photo of your meal, and our AI analyzes it to identify the food items and estimate their nutritional content. The AI provides approximate values based on visual recognition, which you can adjust if needed.

How accurate is the nutritional information?

Our AI provides estimates based on typical serving sizes and common recipes. For the most accurate tracking, you can manually adjust portion sizes and nutritional values after the AI analysis.

Can I use BiteZilla offline?

BiteZilla is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that requires an internet connection for AI analysis. However, you can install it on your device for a native app-like experience.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app settings. Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. To cancel, go to your device's subscription settings and cancel the BiteZilla subscription before the next billing date.

Troubleshooting

App not loading or crashing

Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache. If using the installed PWA, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Make sure you have a stable internet connection.

Photo not being analyzed

Ensure your photo is clear and well-lit. The AI works best with photos that clearly show the food items. Try taking the photo from directly above the plate for best results.

Login issues

If you're having trouble logging in, try resetting your password. If you signed up with Apple or Google, make sure you're using the same provider to log in.
